About Me

My name is Shae Schwenk, I am 21 years old and I reside in Assagay, KZN, after recently relocating from Creighton.

There are so many reasons why I love being a photographer, my main reason being able to capture that raw, honest, pure emotion; to be able to capture a moment that will never be there again.

I am an all-rounder, with my main focuses being on Wedding, Lifestyle and Product photography.

As you may be able to tell from some of my work, I absolutely adore the outdoors and natural light. Being outdoors not only is more scenic for your images but it creates an incredible mood and an overcast day or a beautiful sunrise is an absolute winner for me( for your images too!)

How it all began?

Photography was never a field I saw myself being in, simply because I was always told that there's no money in it while I was still in school. For my 19th birthday I bought myself my very first camera, a second hand Canon 1200D with a kit lens and that's where my love for photography really blossomed. I never put my camera down after that day. Something sparked inside of me; I found a passion and purpose that I never knew I had in me and I just could not stop. If I wasn't taking photo's, I was on Pinterest looking at photoshoot ideas or watching Youtube videos to teach myself more about my camera or photography in general and that is what has gotten me to where I am now (and a TON of practice too!)
